Proper installation requires meticulous craftsmanship that few companies can offer. At EMI we use only metal ductwork which we craft by hand in our own sheet metal shop and install using mastic sealer only—never duct tape, which will degrade over time.

Crew foremen—carefully chosen, each with a minimum of five years experience with EMI—work from computerized layouts and materials lists compiled during the design process. That means error-proof installation with no need for on-site “improvisation.” Vacuums pulled to 500 microns protect motor windings from moisture, and units are charged using both temperature and pressure for absolute accuracy. Finally, insulation is loosely wrapped for a greater R value.
